We were visiting Reus, and walking through the streets, came across this wonderful church. Lovely architecture, free to enter, take a walk around inside, its amazing. Steeped In history, 16th century. Well worth viewing
Apart from Misericordia, this is the most ancient church in Reus. Built in later midele age, this is the church which involves all po¡eople of Reus. Mass, baptisms, marriages and funerals of important people of the town of all seasons. It's impressive
Romanesque church of which nothing remains , its Gothic traces are very interesting. Worth a guided tour at night with the climb to the bell tower. In one of the chapels he is buried the heart of the painter Marià Fortuny
This was opposite our hotel and whilst striking from outside, the inside is truly beautiful. The windows are stunning, the interior warm and welcoming to all. Please do spend 10 minutes to see this beautiful church.
The exterior of this church (is it San Pedro or San Pere-see photo) is quite large and with good architecture, if you stand in the main square with the Gaudi centre to your back, then the church is at the end of the right hand...More
I visited this while living in Reus. It's free to enter and very moving , the stained glass is beautiful and the is a calm atmosphere . The only draw back is there was a service about to start as we entered.
The Church of San Pedro is located at the Plaza San Pedro. This church was started in 1512 and finished in 1569, and was constructed where the old Church of Santa Maria used to be. Domingo Garrupe was the architect for the church. The Santisimo...More
