Left Paris at 9am and was there at 12:30. We stopped once for 30 minutes. Just in time for low tide and watching the seals. The kids and adults loved seeing them.

A tourist office gives visitors all necessary information for the best seals watching experience. When , where ... We have not been disappointed: seals come ashore one by one, across from the river, about 100 yards away. We really enjoyed this amazing experience for free....More

Starting from Berck, a short walk brings you to the bay. The seals (phoques) are on a short distance, easy to be observed. Must do when you're in the neighborhood and tides allow you to do so.

The seals are a great natural attraction but the walk to view them is probably 2 kilometres with the final 500 meters over very uneven and slippery surface and not suitable for anyone with limited mobility
