During our stay in Lough Rynn Castle we were delighted to find this hidden gem available on the grounds of the hotel.
Joe provides an excellent personalised kayaking experience, offering high quality equipment alongside providing a detailed history of the Lough Rynn Estate.
Joe was an excellent guide, good natured and friendly, adapting the experience to our ability. He was kind enough to take photos of us during our tour and had facilities where we could store our belongings safely.
Would absolutely recommend to watersports enthusiasts of all levels. Thank you Joe, for a great start to our stay in Leitrim.

We spent a lovely couple of hours kayaking on Lough Rynn on the October Bank Holiday weekend with Joe our guide. We parked up at the campsite and had access to showers and toilets which we didn't need as we were in a campervan but good to know. Joe was a great host and very knowledgeable with a few funny stories thrown in. He went at our pace which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend. We will be back next year. Thanks Joe! ☺️

Me & my girlfriend used the Lough Rynn Kayaking Tours during our stay in Lough Rynn Castle & were delighted with our tour. We were both in experienced when i t came to Kayak but Joe was brilliant & helpful & gave us a great explanation of how to used Kayaks & plenty of time to get comfortable in the water. The tour itself is brilliant & Joe gives great history of the tour & insight into the Lough, castle & surrounding areas. A fantastic view of the Lough Rynn castle from the lake is one of the many highlights of the tour. Would highly recommend whether a beginner or used to Kayaks to take the tour see the lake & castle from another view, Joe & his team will not let you down.

Myself and my partner had an amazing experience with Lough Rynn Kayaking Tours. Joe is a wonderful tour guide and makes you feel comfortable and safe on the water. He also provides information and fun facts about the castle and the history of the area. Killian was also wonderful, he helps out with the set up, stores your valuables and takes photos of the kayakers that can be sent on later (useful as you are not advised to bring your phone out on the water). Honestly couldn't recommend these guys highly enough. Definitely a worthwhile activity in order to truly make the most of this beautiful area.

Joe and Cillian looked after us on our Kayaking tour. They were professional, friendly and had great knowledge of the history in the area.
The equipment they used was top of the range and incredibly safe and easy to use.
I'd highly recommend this tour for couples and families who want to see lough Rynn from a different perspective.

The team at Lough Rynn Kayaking Tours are a fabulous bunch. Before you even get into your Kayak, Jo and Killian fill you in on the History of Lough Rynn castle and the grounds.
There's a small safety demonstration before you head out on the lake and then you are all set to go.
Once out on the lake,even if you have no experience Jo has a very calming presence and really inspires confidence. Within no time you are enjoying the blissful sights and sounds that Lough Rynn offers!!
The Kayaks and all the gear provided are top notch and well maintained plus they provide you with a bottle of water and a health bar,very thoughtful.
All round excellent experience,fun,a workout and relaxing all rolled up into one,thank you guys. My advice,dont wait....JUST BOOK!!

Myself and daughter decided to try the Kayaking whilst staying at Louth Rynn. Joe who runs the business was very friendly and looked after us well.
The kayak’s used are very stable and even thou we are novices it was very manageable and a great way to see the lake and surrounding area whilst being given lots of useful info by Joe.
Would highly recommend experience, thou Kingfishers not guaranteed 😄

I had a wonderful time with Joe and Killian. They were both very professional and friendly. It was my first time kayaking and Joe was so calm and made me feel very easy. After the first 10 minutes of getting my bearings it was such a rewarding experience. The grounds are just simply stunning and it was so nice being in nature to switch off for a little while. I'll be back again.

The kayaking tour is s great way to spend an hour or so on Lough Rynn. The kayaks are very comfortable. You don't have to worry about falling into the lough as the boats are very stable. Joe our guide was very informative and imparted a wealth of knowledge about the area. So if you're planning a visit to the area I'd definitely recommend this tour. I have done many a kayak tour aboard but they didn't measure up to this one. Had a great day.

Kayaking with Joe was a fantastic experience. We got a tour around Lough Rynn, learned the local history and even kayaked up the Cloone river into Lough Errow. My wife was pretty nervous beforehand but Joe was a great guide and took away all the nerves. Would highly recommend!!
