The Occupation Museum sounded a bit dull, but far from it - it was really interesting and a sobering portrayal of life under occupation during WWII. We were so fascinated by it that we had to return the following day to see the excellent video...More

Although i am a local and have lived here for most of my adult life, i had never until recently visited the German Occupation museum. I liked how very little has been taken away or added to the structure, how it feels like how it...More

Undoubtedly worth a visit, including for families with informed children of say 10 years plus. It will strike the understanding and imagination of teens, and actually all ages. Beginning with a short explanatory film (in a room lined with military memorabilia) this is a remarkable...More

Fascinating insight to a terrible time in Guernsey's history. Loads of stuff collected by the owner over his lifetime. Not only is he the owner, but when we visited he was also selling the tickets and making the tea. Very interesting man to talk to and...More

Everything you would expect from a German Occupation Museum! It isn't a massive space, and you could be round its entirety in 2 hours comfortably- and still fit in a cup of tea. That said, it is a varied, compact yet extensive collection of artefacts...More
