The place was decorated in time for the Christmas season and brought the child in everyone there. The blooms were beautiful and the landscapes are equally gorgeous and so Portuguese inspired.

When you see tourists and locals gathered at one place.. This is the place to be.. Full of shops, food and people! Having a taxi stand just a few hundred metres away is a life saver..

A good place to admire the old buildings facade and cobblestone paving. Lots of shops selling food related item and free tasting. This is on the way to Ruins of St Paul.

A big mess of crowds, but nothing really much there. For photo taking of the buildings, suggest to come in early morning when it is less crowded.

Lots of shops from upper scale stores to local bakeries and souvenir stores. Take a stroll through the streets up to the Ruins of St. Paul’s. There are a few traditional Portuguese restaurants scattered through the square. Be sure to explore some of the side...More

You will walk pass Senado if you are visiting St Joseph or Ruins of St Paul. We walked pass Senado at night and did a little shopping, shopping was rather boring, nothing interesting, and I feel they ruin the buildings by having so many shops....More

Agree wholeheartedly with Ravi. We actually stayed at Hong Kong and visited Macau for a day. We hardly shopped because everything was way more expensive than in the US, where I go regularly. Zara is cheaper even in Amsterdam.
