I like the look of this square and it always seems to have a good atmosphere about it. Lots to see and do and eat nearby.

This is the first trip to Macau...I go with my husband and my daughter (11 y.old)... So...one of many places I want to see is Senado. I really love the atmosphere ..surrounding by old buildings...there's a lot of shop... And free wifi

One of the famous square in Macau from where you can shop, have wonderful food or simply explore the place and walk on to the ruins of St Paul Cathedral. This area is always bustling with tourists.

You'll know you're getting close by the crowds, and then you'll know you're in the right place by the tiling on the streets. The tiling is gorgeous and if you've been to Lisbon, Portugal you'll recognize the tile styling (because it used to be a...More

It is a nice area. Some okay shops, but the fountain is nice at least and the street is nicely designed, of course. If you are going there for shopping, then prepare to spend money as shops are more high-end (at least somewhat), but it’s...More

Macau, maybe because of its small size and cultural identity has preserved some great colonial sites. Unlike Hong Kong, Macau has a real sense of history and Largo do Senato is one of these.

Crowdddddedddd! But all the shopping you need in the one location and lots of cafes or eateries around. We didn't enjoy ourselves here as there were so many people around and queues everywhere but it is a good one stop place if you need to...More

Its one of the famous tourist spots, the architecture reminds you of old Portuguese houses which are very attractive. The place is always busy with tourists and local, they have loads of shops and restaurants to choose from.

From the design on the walking path, to the water fountain, to the impressive buildings around you, you will feel you are in Portugal. Great place just to walk around and explore.

Many interesting things at Senado Square that I found. You can try so many autentic food and see historical building. Just explore the sorrounding, you can see local life style and little museums at there.

Agree wholeheartedly with Ravi. We actually stayed at Hong Kong and visited Macau for a day. We hardly shopped because everything was way more expensive than in the US, where I go regularly. Zara is cheaper even in Amsterdam.
