Saw this show as a gift from my daughter to myself and my husband. It was amazing. The setting, acrobatics and even the motor bikes were beautiful and exciting in equal measure. Very entertaining, absolutely thrilling and well worth a visit. We had a perfect view 4 rows from the front, and didn't get wet at all.

Wow, what a spectacular show! The show amazingly performed across multi-level water stage. Love how they combine the cool projections, getting all the professional scuba divers, scrambler motorcyclist, gymnast, swimmers, dancers, actor/actress and more to take us into magical kingdom.

Ticket are little pricey but really worth to take your family or loved one for this amazing water dance show.

The house of dancing water - PADI scuba diver certification course - This is one of the greatest diving activities in the world. I never thought of diving in a world class water theatre, with the outstanding equipment and excellent environment. To enjoy the unique experience, only available in Macau, make yourself feel like part of the dancing water performance team. Staff are genuinely nice, and I would like to this chance to thanks them all. This is an activity that you should not miss in your life. I strongly recommend participate this special events.

The trainer and trainer assistant are very professional and detail-oriented, we feel so safe and relaxed with them by our side.

Our trainer and trainer assistant guided us through step by step, it is a zero to hero class. It was such an awesome experience to become a mermaid. Childhood dream comes true.

The environment is very unqiue and WOW, how often can you go behind the stage of House of Dancing Water?

We are looking forward for the next advanced class, we can't wait and very excited.

This would have to be the absolute best show I have ever seen. We were in the 'splash zone' which was one row back from the front. We didn't get too wet.
From start to finish I don't think the smile left my face. The performers were outstanding. The stage transformation during the show is mind blowing. I absolutely loved it.
If you have the opportunity to go then just book it and go. You won't be disappointed. 10/10

To get the PADI FreeDiving Basic License, we have to hold our breath under water for at least 1:30. I would suggest you practice with the CO2 table before coming to class, since you have to relax your body and mind within a short time. The music under the pool will help you relax. Then we have to dive and fin 25m with 1 full breath. When you completed both tasks, you will learn to be each other’s diving buddy and learn how to rescue each other.

*Female changing room contains 4 showers, 2 toilets and plenty of lockers (each with amenities from Morpheus). Around 2 mins distance from the class area.
*The closest restroom can only take one person.

This is a great opportunity to swim in this world class theatre.

The diving experience is amazing! Ok her staffs are nice and helpful. They will have a introduction of what we will see in the pool, and do a review and test again how to clear goggle and retrieve the regulator, only when everyone pass that will start the tour. Checking all the famous equipments like the pirate ship and the Russian swings...etc. Best dive spot in Macau for sure!!!

Brought my family of 6 to see The House of Dancing Water today on 21st December 2017 at 5pm as an early Christmas gift for my family and left feeling extremely short-changed because all of the most iconic parts of the show which involves performers diving into the pool were totally eliminated without prior notice and we paid full priced tickets. Yes, these include the acts involving the Boat Masts, the Russian Swings, the Trapeze Ballerinas, and the most anticipated high diving act at the end. If these acts are not considered major acts, then I don’t know what is. It’s like ordering a set meal at a restaurant and you’re served appetizers and desserts but never served the main course, but you pay the same price. I don’t know how that is acceptable. We flew in to Macau especially to see the show for the first time and we came with high hopes full of excitement and anticipation. I had prepped the kids prior to coming and had read the awesome reviews online so we knew immediately when some acts were missing. I didn’t know how to explain to the kids when they kept asking me when the “diving scenes” were going to start and I kept saying “perhaps later, perhaps later..” and finally it was curtain call (??). You should have seen the disappointment in their eyes. Feeling puzzled myself I approached a staff at the control box at the end of the show and all he could tell me was that those acts were eliminated due to technical difficulties. We walked outside to the box office and spoke with a Mr. Allen and asked if due to the unforeseen circumstances of technical difficulties today- which we totally understand, were they able to offer us a return voucher (like a courtesy credit) for the next time we are in Macau so that my kids can see the parts they missed this time- and we were answered with a straight, “No!” I knew right then that asking for a partial refund would be a, “Hell No!!” Mr. Allen kept highlighting article no.5 of the terms and conditions on the back of the ticket, which basically says they have the right to change the show content. Mr. Allen then escalated my request to Ms. Rachel Ng, assistant manager of the box office at City of Dreams. She wasn’t very helpful either and kept pointing to article no.5 again, on the back of the ticket, and she told me these iconic parts have been eliminated for the whole of last week too, perhaps implying that why am I the only one making noise when all those other audiences have peacefully left them alone since last week without anyone complaining of the missing acts? Which brings me to the whole point of business ethics. There are many ways that businesses engage in unethical conduct, exploiting their customers, and even the public at large. To me this is a classic example that illustrates the scope of unethical business practice. Some businesses choose to increase the profits for the owners at the expense of their customers. They KNEW beforehand there was technical difficulties. These technical problems didn’t occur overnight. In fact for the whole of last week they already had these problems, according to Ms. Rachel Ng, assistant manager at the box office. They KNEW that these major acts were going to be eliminated and yet continued to sell the tickets at full price, without informing any of the customers. If they had told me these acts were going to be cancelled, I would have chosen not to buy and come back another time instead of paying so much only to feel short-changed. If you tell me that it was just 1 act which was eliminated, or a minor act, then I would have been more understanding. But this was 3 major acts and basically all of the iconic pool diving scenes. If they think that the Asian customers can be bullied in such a way and not voice out, I think the internet has revolutionised that. When I told Ms. Rachel Ng that I would be writing a review about this lack of empathy and bad customer service shown to us, she just gave me a blank stare and handed me her business card- I take that as a: “go ahead, nobody would care.” So here I am writing this review, my first ever review because I am not one who likes to do this kind of thing, but I feel like I won’t be doing myself justice if I don’t voice out this time. And if Mr. Franco Dragone ever read this review, I hope he understands where I’m coming from, having once been an audience himself.

Recently returned to take a guest to HoDW after watching this spectacular show last year. Booked the class A seats (HK$880) two months in advance, seated in row E, a most excellent position to watch this show.

All in all, the show was just as fantastic as the first time, easily on par with the Cirque du Solei Vegas classics; O and Ka. Somewhat to our surprise, our guest, a regular visitor to Las Vegas, said that the House of Dancing Water was more enjoyable and comprehensive, than O and Ka, in the happiness, sadness and exciting story that unfolds during the show.

What we learned this time: Because of the stadium design, there are no bad seats in the house. However, the Section A seats are better, as they allow you more time up close with the performers who spend noticeably more time nearer to the A section during the show.

We also found that they are definitely trying to get you a bit wet now compared to last year. However, there now seem to be red blankets provided for the first four rows to prevent anyone from getting any serious splashing on them. Even in row E we took on some minor splash and a bit of mist spray during the show. No need to worry though, it was not like some ride at a Disneyland Riverboat ride or anything like that, just some light splashes from time to time.

Overall, the HoDW show was just as impressive this time around, the entire crowd remained at the edge of their seats for the full ninety minutes and again, there was a standing ovation and endless smiles when the show was over.

This is just a fantastic production, easily one of the very best we have seen anywhere in the world and one that we will happily return for a 3rd and probably more viewings. How can you not like the House of Dancing Water?

Hint: As the Venetian Zaia show is now closed, there is no alternative to the House of Dancing Water show in Macau for this form of entertainment. This will likely result in more pressure on tickets sells, making it very difficult to secure tickets close to show time. Thus, in order to avoid being disappointed, its highly advisable to book your tickets, online, well in advance of visiting Macau to ensure you don't miss out on the HoDW experience.

Hint: Its very difficult to take pictures during the show as they keep it very dark during the majority of the performance. Best to just put the cameras down and enjoy the performance. Its good enough that many great moments will be etched into your memory anyway.
