João Pedro (JP) was our guide for small group tour to Alcobaca and Batalha. He was very knowledgeable and just a very nice person. He gave us lots of valuable advices and general information about how to navigate in the area.

We met Ivo on a rainy day. With our umbrellas, we toured Obidos with him. Ivo has an extensive knowledge of the city. He provided us lots of interesting facts. We reached Obidos after 9 days visiting the north of Portugal. He was able to answer our questions. Time flew by past! Even under the rain, we enjoyed the whole tour and his comments. Please contact Ivo if you want a deep and detailed tour of Obidos. He knows his region very well.

We cant say enough how awesome this tour was. Ivo was spectacular. He avoided the crowded spots, provided great historical insights and even helped us with the stroller at times through the cobble and stairs. Not expected but much appreciated. This tour is the best value for you money.

Our family of 3 did the Alcobaça and Batalha Monasteries in the beggining of May. Even though we didn't know much about both monuments, our guide was incredible and made the all experience very entertaining. We learned things we didn’t knew just by going around on our own. Oir guide Ivo Soares is very knowledgeable about the places and history that we visited.

Ivo was kind and full of terrific information about Caldas da Rainha. We appreciated his enthusiasm for history. In particular, we asked lots of questions related to art and cartooning and he was able to make connections to Portuguese art history and ceramics. And he provided relevant context about current events and the places he took us.

Maria took us on an in depth tour of this very interesting town. We enjoyed our tour thoroughly. Before the tour, we had a chance to walk almost all the way around the town on the medieval walls. We’d highly recommend doing that as well.

Ivo was a great local guide, very attentive to our small tour group. It downpoured for a few minutes as the tour started and Ivo graciously offered a refund to anyone who didn't want to brave the weather. We all continued and were rewarded with a tour of Obidos past and present. Highly recommended!

The tour was very interesting and fun we saw the city colourful streets, cool castle and also the city wall.
Our guide JP was amazing, he was very knowledgable and funny. He gave us a historical overview on the city and took the time to answer all of our questions.
