Leave your driver at home and hit it straight(ish) and you will love this hilly, cleverly designed course. The pictures on the website really don't do it justice, beautiful views of Mount Etna with every hole posing a challenge.

The Golf course is litteraly beautiful with a view on the Etna from almost every hole. we had twe lessons with Norman Johnstone, best teacher ever! The restaurant club house offers a variety of dishes and the garden is a peaceful place.

The buggies are grossly overpriced so I walked with a trolly. It was quite pleasant. In terms of the course itself- the absolute most important detail you wont be told: BRING WATER. BRING WATER! There is no form of hydration once you're out on the course. There's a vending machine adjacent to the pro shop with Powerade and Water for about 2 euro. THE RANGE: Serves its purpose. Some were allowed to hit off grass while some chose to use the mats. COINS ONLY! The Rental Equipment: Undoubtably the most disappointing part of the experience. The rates for hiring clubs were rather high and one would expect decent set of clubs. These were old, really beat up and over twenty years old. There are services such as clubs4hire.com that'll provide rental clubs at airports (In the UK and some other places) but definitely do your best to avoid hiring overpriced poorly maintained outdated rental clubs. Last thing- 13th Hole. PLAY. IT. SAFE. Godspeed…

I spent one day at the spa with my niece & family in Sicily. I went in the water in the spa. My nephew played golf which he enjoyed.

The service we experienced was terrible. (!) After make the payment for 9 holes + golfgear (163 euro's for 2). We found out within 5 minutes that my partner could not start because of health conditions. Even though this was mentioned within 5 minutes, the staff was not willing to return 1 person's payment. Under no condition... They did not show any empathy for the situation, they just needed the money. A simular situation occurred with 2 other golfers when I returned from the course, they were absolutely devastated by the lack of service from the staff. After trying one more time, with 3 different staff members, one staff member was able to return jus a small part of the green-fee that was not used. The rest; the gear rental etc. we had to pay, not used at all.... Service is key in every business. This golf course failed enormously on that part. For that reason and my overall experience on this course: DONT GO TO THIS COURSE, instead find the course in the south of Catania...…
