Charming and Pleasant place. You can access to the entrance of one of the mines and the temperature inside in unbelievably low. Educational for kids. Free entrance

These small remains of the former mines are worth a visit. It is free and it is perfect with children. Nicely organised and easy to access.

Nothing special IMO but it adds interest to the walk in the area. Nothing more to say about it really.

Access to the mines is from the bus drop off point on the Lake Covadonga bus circuit. The paths are well sign posted/marked. Beware of the local cattle - they can get rather friendly.

The attraction did not captivate too much of my attention, nonetheless I recognise is well organised and conserved. The landscape make it totally worth, is not by any chance that you are in Picos da Europa!

This is easy to get to from either of the lake car parks. It is uphill from Buferrera, and just slightly down from the Ercina car park. There are good paths to it, and you can inspect the old mine entrances and walk through the...More

An interesting place that can be visited during a tour to the Covadonga lakes. It is right by the lakes. It shows the remains of a mine that was active till the 1970's.

This is an add on for those visiting the Covadonga Lakes. There is no charge and the well maintained paths wander through an area of old mines and rock pinnacles. Well worth a visit
