Like many places in Lanzarote, Puerto del Carmen was originally a small fishing village, and the old harbour is still a delightful place to visit, boasting some excellent bars, restaurants and excursions running out of the harbour.

We stayed in the old town so the harbour was a must see.. Its little harbour is beautiful for walks and to just sight see.. We sat at a little bar and watched the fishing boats come in and out the harbour beautiful for pictures..

Is fantastic for families but wear comfy shoes as lot of hills although taxis are really cheap and know every single hotel and don't rip u off like other parts of Europe (Amsterdam they drive u around in circles)

turn right when you come out of shopping center, keep walking then tuern left down the cobble stone street, it's about 8 minuet walk depending on how fast your able to walk.
