Although the island is volcanic so has dark sand. This is a lovely clean beach, they are investing a lot of money into porta del Carmen.

Visited the beach recently and although it was packed that day, we still had a great day ! Such a buzz around with the scuba diving team and other water-sports like parasailing, jet ski etc. Great atmosphere, loved that the sun-beds for rent were on...More

Beautiful clean, calm beach with millions of fish! Definitely recommend a visit, and for scuba diving Manta diving is the best!

Lovely beach with toilet and shower facility which is always good. Nice stretch of sea to go in. Plenty of sun lounges at a cost of €8 each or 2 for €12 always worth it

Playa Chica is an amazing little place with loads of water sports. The paragliding experience is absolutely amazing and the speedboat trip out and returning in the open waters was equally as exciting!

This beach might be small but it is so safe and great if you want to watch watersports and go a little along the way to watch the divers.

This beach is nice and even when busy feels nice and relaxing as well as calm. It is along from the shopping centre and on the Main Street of the town with a lot of benches for wiping feet down after.
