If you are a fan of Tintin, you must visit this. This will make you have a whole new appreciation for the comics and Herge's work. Plus they also have a cool souvenir shop!

Easy to get to from Brussels, via train. It is a quiet student town. Not very crowded. Nice place for seeing Herge's life and works.

Check w your hotel if they can book you on a City Tours package that includes pick up and drop off at your hotel and the admission for the museum and the audio guide. I think this comes out cheaper and more convenient than... More
