We very much enjoyed the museum. I knew nothing about Hergé (George Remi) but learned so much about him, and from him. Despite not having traveled much in his youth, he became so knowledgeable about the world, cultures, news, etc. Tintin's adventures are proof of...More

Rude staff, extremely long wait and overly expensive. 18 euro for a Caesar salad! Otherwise the museum is beautiful.

Easy to get to from Brussels, via train. It is a quiet student town. Not very crowded. Nice place for seeing Herge's life and works.

For Hergé/Tintín fans. It indeed was an unforgettable experience. The premises are astounding and provide an impressive frame to the enormous quantity of objects, drawings and memorabilia related with the author. The shop could have more assortment and unusual items for sale. First Sunday of...More

This is a must visit attraction for Herge fans. It is a bit of a faff to get to from central Brussels but is well worth it - about 50 minutes - with one change at Ottignes. The museum covers Herge's childhood, life, inspirations and...More

I would recommend getting the kids acquainted with Tintin first. Buy a few of the most child- friendly Tintin stories ( In Tibet, Secret of the Licorne, for example , or just let them choose themselves) and only then take... More
