Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We realise the roses are not at there best now, but we so enjoyed walking around the gardens and of course seeing the birds. Well done to the gardeners

Trip down memory lane for me having live here in 1999/2000 as a travelling banker.
Gardens are still lovely and I remember the large trees, Rose Garden and Bird Aviary well. Beautifully kept

If you're going through Gore on your travels you must stop and have a photo with the fish! It's one of those iconic photo pics to be taken. Also with the Guitar by the public toilets across the road.

The gardens occupy a block right beside town, with seats and dining tables suitable for stopping and enjoying the view. It is just opposite the grocery stores so perfect for a picnic break.
Highlights were the old fashioned roses (love that smell) and the huge tree in the middle provided entertainment fo the children.
There is a small aviary, and public toilets.
Free. Wheel chair accessible.

The Gore gardens are an absolute must for any visitor. They are immaculate and offer such a wonderful sight especially in spring and summer. They are wonderfully cared for and a credit to those who look after them. And so handy to the CBD. Highly recommended for visitors to go and have lunch and enjoy the serenity.

Gore really takes pride in its public gardens, both in the Gardens themselves and on the main street. Spring flowers were at their best. Always good for a stroll and the aviaries are enjoyable for young visitors
