From the moment that I placed the booking, felt welcomed. We were a family of 6, that were traveling around New Zealand. (from Australia) We were welcomed late in the afternoon at the motel. The unit was very clean and had everything that was needed. Were able to wash and dry our clothes in the lovely laundry. Will stay there again!!

We strolled down the beautiful park from the top enjoying the many exotic plants and trees that adorn each side of the pathway. We wandered to the path on the right to view the many Rhododendrons Hostas Trillon Plants and many more. At the end of the walkway was a lovely Deer Park.

A quiet stroll; good to stop if you've brought or bought a picnic lunch. Interesting array of plantings eg, the hosta collection is huge. Some interesting trees and bog plants along a stream. A couple of enclosures with deer which don't take much notice of passers-by

I was visiting Gore with my children and grandchildren and we walked though Bannerman Park. It is totally free, the trees and flowers are very pretty and the deer were wonderful, we took apples and fed the large deer, especially the large stag they have, the children also loved the fellow deer and all the acorns from the oak trees and different colored leaves on the ground. A place to enjoy.
