Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The well surfaced and clearly marked short trails from the play area are superb for exploring the ancient native forest . The dense canopy and trees covered with epiphytes are a rare insight into the old NZ.

My wife and I arrived late in Gore and read the excellent ratings on Google ... the beautiful grass areas fulfilled all expectations ... it’s a very quiet place and the birds can be heard :)

Dolamore Park is absolutely wonderful and is a jewel in the Gore District's crown as far as the extensive parks go. Exceptionally well maintained and with plenty of space for families to take a picnic, lots of room to run around and a playground to keep the children entertained. Also lots of bush walks to enjoy.

We spent a night here in campervans and loved it.
Clean showers with hot hot water.
Great walking tracks
Excellent gardens.
Really interesting children's playground with a flying fox, scrabbling nets etc.
Glow worms can sometimes be seen.
Much better than Black Gulley,

Park is about 7km of the main road.
Park is nice spot for a play/ lunch/walk.
Walk to lookout (304m) is not easy as brochure states. Its a steep walk in spots and requires good shoes. View is good over plains to the south.
