Took the tour today and found it most enjoyable. Got close-up to the calves, the cows and the dog. This is a new attraction but well worth it. Alet was very good at explaining how the dairy farm works and Phil was full of farming knowledge. The working dairy shed I found most interesting as the cows were being milked at the time. The weather was not suitable for the farm-ride on the "mini-tractor train" but that was OK. There was plenty to see and ask questions about. Allow a couple of hours for this visit.

Wow! Totally surprised this is not higher up the "things to do" list on trip advisor.
We met Alet one of the owners at the milking shed in the afternoon. She was so welcoming and got us sorted with overalls, gumboots and refreshments.
We were taken around the milking shed and even got our own chance to milk a cow. Alet had a great indepth knowledge of how the farm and industry works. After trying some delicious fresh milk, we travelled in a trailer pulled by Massey Ferguson tractor to go on tour around the farm. I was impressed with how highly maintained it is and could appreciate the passion and love that the owners and staff put in.
During the drive around we met Alet's husband Phil & his son Jimmy. Both are lovely are seem to just love their farm.
We got to see the second milking shed, feed some calves and meet the piggies.
I didn't want the tour to end as the information was so interesting.
I would reccomend this tour, dairy is such a big part of NZ, I feel like it's a great way to see the work and faces behind that bottle of milk & block of cheese etc.
Thank you for holding these tours.

What an amazing tour to go on! Didnt really know what to expect but hands down recommend for everyone to experience it!
The team were so friendly and welcoming. The guided tour was really in-depth and got to learn so much about dairy farming.

The dairy industry is one of the most important business sectors in NZ. Due to this, a dairyfarm is worth a visit!
Alet and Jimmy, who guided the tour, were very very friendly and explained very well.
The tour startet with watching the milking process, we also had the possibility to milk cows. We watched the pastures, the calf-barn and more interessting details.
Must see, both for farmers and "normal" visitors!
