Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff, who wished to ensure I knew options for Gore and my future travel through Southland without being too pushy. A good stop for free AA maps. Newly built building, airy and bright. There is a wooden tent for children to play in, lots of seating (probably a bit low for the elderly to get out of without help). Wheelchair accessible.

This place is a must to go to when travelling through Gore. Staff are friendly and helpful. Plus you get a bit of information about the history of Gore and what things to do while visiting. They also do bookings. Was around $5 to see a movie and walk around this amazing Gore Historical Museum and the Moonshine Museum. Plus got a taste of the Hokonui Whiskey which I'm sure you can also purchase and buy online. This is the great town where the Fleming Factory made rolled oats.

Walked in near the end of the day to ask if there was any accommodation in town. The girls were absolutely fantastic, willing to offer their help, suggest options and make a few calls. A real credit to their roles.
