We only took the canoes out for a couple of hours, but we could have gone for much longer. This was worth every single penny (though it was not expensive in the least) and more. The river is stunning and once you get on to the lime stone formations in the river it is absolutely beautiful. Going back down the... More

We loved this day! the owner here was so helpful, since we had the time, he suggested we hike around Truman Track before kayaking to allow for the tide. He gave us booties (better than our water shoes for insulation and rocks), a tie for our sun glasses (a must), life jackets, and a sealed bucket to keep our camera... More

My husband and I spent 2 glorious hours kayaking in single kayaks up the river, it's so beautiful, crystal clear water, amazing scenery. We absolutely loved it. Bring a picnic, have a swim :) the service was excellent and all gear provided was in good nick. Thank you so much !

The stunning scenery alone is worth it! Our family of two adults and two kids (14, 9) found it easy to paddle upstream in this beautiful, shallow river. Was fun, hassle free and a memory to treasure. Drifting downstream surrounded by untouched native bush was just perfect.

Our family of 2 adults & 2 boys aged 8 & 13 hired canoes & spent a wonderful 2 hours paddling up & down the river. It was a hassle free hire & we would recommend it to anyone with time to stop & enjoy the beauty of the river & bush & the towering limestone cliffs. Our 8 year... More

This is a beautiful part of the world, fully experienced by kayaking up the river. The staff were helpful. The equipment was in good condition. The river was easy for someone with a moderate level of fitness.

We took 2 of our own paddle boards and rented a couple of kayaks for the rest of our group. Access to the river and the rental shop is right near the road and easy to find.It was really easy to get everything in the water and there is no messing about with annoying paperwork. Super nice lady working there... More

My friend had to rent a kayak as me and my friend and a double one anyway. The lovely woman that worked there let us borrow booties and buoyancy aid for free. Very helpful at telling us where to kayak in the river and where the shallow bits are

We brought our own kayak so we needed one more. We hired one and they also gave the other two of us free lifejacket and bootie hire. The views on this river are spectacular. Crystal clear water however there are some strong currents to beware of this! Fantastic afternoon out.

The area is so beautiful, especially when kayaking the river. We took our kids, 10, 8 and 6. They really enjoyed themselves. Money well spent :)
