Even though it was cloudy and raining a bit we had a wonderful time. Views to die for and if you stop paddling you hear only the noise of the jungle. Friendly staff.

I personally think the Porarari river is one of the most beautiful rivers in NZ, the scenery around here is stunning. Kayaking up and down the river was a great experience and lots of fun!

Had half the day free in the area so decided to look what to do and so happy I did the canoeing! I would personally rank this about the pancake rocks themselves. The price is pretty cheap (compared with kayak tours in NZ). 40NZD for...More

Super friendly owners and the most amazing river I've ever kayaked down. The scenery along the river blew my mind. Felt like I was kayaking through Jurassic Park. Don't miss this if you go to Punakaiki.

A great kayak up river. A few places you have to walk but its definitely worth it. The scenery us incredible and its a great ride back down the river with some mild rapids. Places to stop and have breaks along the way too :)

We only took the canoes out for a couple of hours, but we could have gone for much longer. This was worth every single penny (though it was not expensive in the least) and more. The river is stunning and once you get on to...More

We loved this day! the owner here was so helpful, since we had the time, he suggested we hike around Truman Track before kayaking to allow for the tide. He gave us booties (better than our water shoes for insulation and rocks), a tie for...More

The business owner lives on the property- you just press the intercom button and he walks over. When we were there it was cold and rainy, we were the only ones but it was well worth it, beautiful scenery and not very taxing... More
