Lower tides are best, as it will be easy to get to the waterfall. Still an amazing place where the rainforest meets the sea.

get off the beaten track a little and see the wonder of a west coast beach, complete with caves and fossils....only 10 minutes from Punakaiki, but not half as busy as the pancake rocks. An awesome spiritual place.

This track is great and leads down to the most stunning beach, waterfall, cliffs, ocean view and SUNSET........it is a place to enjoy nature at its best. Easy grade.
