I would rate a 4 * to this zoo. Very well kept and maint with huge no of species to see. One can see the Tiger and Leopards in almost natural habitats.

This zoo popularly known as sher ka danda,it has ticket for rs 50 for adults and rs 25 for kids,it is closed on manday.

Sachin, yes you can visit Lake and Zoo in the evening. But i suggest, visit Zoo first as else it will become dark and all the animals will go inside their cages and you will not be able to enjoy your visit to the Zoo... More

There are state run cabs there to run from Shimla station road to take you there. Your own car cab can also take you there and drop you before 200 meters from the ticket counter.
