I just love castles and Castillo Velez Blanco is just heaven for me. Like Bodium Castle, Sussex in the UK from the outside it looks almost perfect whilst inside it is quite the opposite. This small castle is a bit of a rabbit warren (which...More

Worth visiting and a great experience, alot of change has taken place since our previous visit. Excellent views from the castle and very interesting to walk through the parts of the castle.

Shame the castle is not open. Maybe it is at certain times of the year. It would have been nice to see inside. Cafe/bar opposite car park was friendly and efficient with lovely food.

This Castillo is worth the very steep climb for the views across the valley alone. Unfortunately, it's closed October to April, so we could not look around it, however, the grounds around it made up for that and we enjoyed out vitas.

Had a great time going round this castle. No entrance fee which I would not of minded paying to go towards the restoration which is ongoing. Amazing views and would be a great place to have a wedding, which I believe they do. What information...More

A recently restored castle with an interesting history, which is now a popular wedding venue! There is little content, but the views are outstanding and the historical displays interesting. It would be better if some of the descriptions were also in English!
