The Castle of the Holy Cross of Calafell is a fortified place of the Middle Ages, first documented in 1037 and it is located in the old town of Calafell, also of medieval origins. The Castle and its surroundings form an Open Air Archaeological Park which explains through a renewed museography some episodes in the history of the municipality.

I was there with my girlfriend during vacation. Place with awesome atmosphere. During the way back to town you can buy great ice cream at small shop in the middle of the way. Love the atmosphere and chilled people :)
