This church is quite important for Brazilians because Cabral (the one who first ashore Brazil) is buried in the church. Although a good example of the gothic style, probably the most stunning it is the façade with its most beautiful rosacea. Enjoy!

This temple is a must-see! It was almost demolished inside (like Santa Clara church, another must-see in Santarém) in an attempt of seeking Gothic purity. As a result, it does not feel like a church (pretty much the same can be said about Batalha, another contemporary church).
