Nice area for food and walking in the summer. Have not yet been up to the "Eagle's Nest", but sounds like a good place for views of the local mountains. Paths are well marked, although not too easy to get to....
Heidi Village is wonderful place for those who lived the story and watch the cartoon mid 70s. Great idea to have such demonstration for the generations tone remembered. It’s easily 3 hrs you can spend and know about the story and character creater’s as well....More
My children wanted to come here. The goats and chickens are live and authentic, the statues of Heidi and Peter are not, but the essence of Switzerland is here for the visitor, complete with the "fountain" water trough fed with fresh water. The backdrop mountains...More
This attraction is quite nice, the village it self is unique and very well restored. You can find almost everything that is in the cartoon. For kids it is very nice, very nice gift shop and especially the smallest post office in Switzerland.
the lady that works in the shop and museum is incredibly unfriendly and unprofessional. she got mad at us being with kids and not choosing an ice cream in less then 30 seconds. we felt very unconfortable and unwelcome in this place. is this swiss...More

Lovely place we visited in July, 2017.If you know the story of Heidi, then it will be very interesting for you to visit this place. The climb is interesting with good scenery around.The place is very much commercialized for the drinks and food.
