This is around 5 Km from Karaikkal town. Saturday will be crowded. Minimum parking option around streets. May be you can spend 1-2 hour. Not much eateries around. The architectural beauty of the temple is amazing.

Beautiful and powerful temple. Badly maintained though. Wish they would take better care of it, esp the hygiene . The temple pond was extremely filthy.

Special darshan tip: Buy the Rs.200 ticket or others after checking the queue inside. The special queue gets merged with the free-darshan queue in few metres itself. The hawkers outside the temple tempt you to be buy the ticket. So, be aware of this.
