Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have just been to the coolest Lego display in NZ! My cheeks are sore from smiling so much!! 5 year old absolutely loved it. What a truly incredible Lego collection. Spike was an excellent host and had plenty of Lego knowledge to share. Any true Lego fan must visit this place!

Awesome collection, this was way more than we expected and Spike is a fantastic host. Guiding you round the house. Amazing collection of rare sets and my daughter even managed to buy one off him. Made her day. Definitely worth a visit when in Waihi.

What a surprise this place was, Spikes enthusiasm for Lego was contagious! We all had soooo much fun learning about Lego and viewing the displays. They were well thoughtout and presented so many different types of Lego. We hadn't realised there was so many different series. A definite must see.

Found this place from word of mouth. Great display, heaps to look at and interactive at the end with hands on R/C tank course. 3yr old loved the trains, cranes and Lego builds. Spike knows his Lego and will tell you all about it. He's spent a fair bit on his collection and it shows. Definitely worth a visit.

We loved it! Really nice local museum - not massive but definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. Small and friendly

Spike was an awesome host and showed us the displays himself. The kids loved it! There were some very cool sets, and we got to race some Lego cars.
