On the other hand, some of the bar tenders are quite clearly racist, to the point where we actually tried to test this out by having a friend (different race) stand next to be, and order, whilst I had been waiting for 20+ minutes and was still ignored over other customers. This was not the case with all bar staff, but for such a well known venue, this was not something I had expected. Then there is the over crowding issue, where it is was literally impossible during peak times to get into the main rooms to see the DJs you have paid €90+ to go and see. However, if you are able to stay for the night, you will have an amazing experience as the music and effects are 10/10, it is just a shame about the overcrowding and over selling of tickets. I had also previously been back in 2018, and overcrowding was not an issue in the slightest. No problem getting served at the bar. However I put that down to the price of the drinks. £17 euro for a beer and £15 for water. The place was way too crowded and VIP without a table isn’t worth the money. We were jammed in, couldn’t move and the cigarette smoke was too much. Would never go back. It felt unsafe and oversold.

Visited for Afterlife (Tale Of Us). I don’t actually know why this is classed as a nightclub anymore. People dance and have fun in nightclubs. It may as well be called a cinema as people just stand and watch the screens and projection bopping along to Ketamine as they can’t afford to buy drinks.
I don’t know what happened at Hï last few years. A few years back it was fresh and new. Maybe they have just outgrown their own club?
My advice to them is they should just build a stadium next door with a 30 metre screen, let people sit down and film a recording of people stood inside filming the projections, listening to once great DJs (Tale Of Us) playing music to go along with the projection screens behind them.
How is this “Clubbing”?
My guess is Tale of Us are in some contract they can’t get out of as no idea how they go along with this as DJs.

I paid 300 for a VIP ticket which got me 3 free drinks but not a VIP experience.
We were escorted into the VIP section by a hostess and shown where the VP toilets, area, cabanas and bar were all located but our friends who didn't have VIP tickets were somehow able to chill with us at the "VIP Bar" and cabanas.
The VIP toilet situation as a mess...it's pure carnage and you have to wait for at least 30 minutes to access a cubical.
If you have a VIP table you'll probably enjoy a bit more but simply getting a VIP ticket doesn't really seem worth it given it cost 6x the price of a normal ticket.
One positive is the ability to get closer to the DJ box but the club is so crowded anyway, you're unlikely to want to get anywhere near the DJ Box.
It's a vastly improved club from the last time I visited it 15 years ago when it was Club Space. There remains lots of drug abuse but it's a great venue for proper ravers.

We went to a David Guetta concert, the club was so packed to a point where you can’t breath, move or turn. They kept letting people in, stepping on each other. We had to move to the back of the club to be able to stand and not be kicked shoved or stepped on. Around 2:30 am when he showed up, the people start pouting at n more in a club that was already jam packed, the situation became dangerous, so we left.
They were selling more tickets outside even though it says on line that it was sold out.
In summary the experience was mediocre, they sucked all the fun and made it so unenjoyable. Definitely won’t go there again.

A review I never expected to write about such a good place.. I've been to Hi on 2 separate occasions over the past 6 years. Tonight was meant to be a really special night for me and my partner.
However it was never to be. The night started well, admission was nice and easy and the atmosphere was amazing, however around 02:30am myself and my partner made our way to the "wild room" the toilets to everyone else. As we entered it was apparent that the room was severely overcrowded and it quickly became an issue for both me and my partner. She got shoved quite hard by someone (again under normal clubbing circumstances I understand this but this was totally overboard)
She was in some distress at this, not only due to the physical pain but also the panic it bought on after this.
I was also hurt in this incident but not to the same extent as my partner.
We made our way to the exit which was by the "garden" area with the tents etc and made a complaint to which we were fobbed off with go and speak at the main gate.
We exited via another exit and explained the situation to which we were told yes you can cross the outside to get to the main gate to speak to who ever was in charge. We spoke to a security guy on the door who at first seem compliant to help. But then said "you can complain all you want, nobody is going to listen"
I then asked for the hoja de reclamaciones to which I was given them after 30 minutes of waiting and then told to F*** off, I asked for a pen to fill them in but was ignored on every instance. I am going to the guardia civil in the morning to continue this claim as I've now seen here on trip advisor that there are several other reviews of the same nature. 60€ entry each plus over 180€ In drinks (can provide card statements) to be treated like a mug and told to F*** off..
Club has totally gone downhill and is clearly just a cash cow instead of providing a quality service to ifs clients.
I'll update as I get more information.

This was my first time in Ibiza in more than 7 years. So I was really excited and preparing to have a great time while there! My night started at Hi Ibiza having David Guetta as the headliner (fun)! The line was huge to enter the venue but it moved pretty quickly, so that was great!
Given my excitement me and my friend decided to buy in advance the 5 premium bar pack where you get to redeem them once you are at the venue for a “cheaper” price, it still costed us 80+ Euros. Once we finally got in, I was re-directed more than 3 times from different workers as no one knew where to redeem this voucher, that’s advertise when I was buying tickets online.
Once they finally pointed us to the “correct” bar stand which had a “Tequila neon sign” the experience we encountered left me speechless. The lady at the bar was one of the rudest persons I have ever encountered. Like LITERALLY, I super friendly asked her what types of drinks I could redeem with this voucher, her face literally changed instantly annoyed and said something to the effect: “well whatever it said on the website” I’m like thinking to myself you are here to assist, does it bother that much for someone to ask you this? WOW!!! I just went ahead and said, actually on the website it doesn’t specify. Her look of annoyance was so obvious it made me uncomfortable and others as well. What a way to start the night! Thanks!
It doesn’t stop there unfortunately, throughout the night the experience from other bar stands left too much to desire. It was almost as if the bartenders, hated being there, or like if they weren’t trained at customer service or hospitality. Their demeanor was dismissive, transactional, and not welcoming.
Honestly it was just a very disappointing experience. And from the looks of it, other folks have experience similar. Given how much money on tickets and drinks, I was really expecting something else!

Unfortunately i ignored most of the reviews i read and usually dont write reviews but this could have really changed the nature of a good trip. We booked a group of us to go to celebrate my birthday and see guetta.
We left within 2 hours as the crowds were unsafe, so much so that we were stuck in diffrent parts of the club because the room with DG in it was impossible to fight against. A few of us got our bags robbed within minutes-again due to the dangerous number of people in there, you couldnt see/feel someone doing this. The whole vibe was negative and dangerous so unfortunately my first and last experience of this place and i would say doing an outdoor experince like cafe mambo would be better and not such a waste of cash. There was about 15 of us at £60 each but because it was so unsafe, we were happy to loose it all😔.

Really, really disappointing overall experience. Obviously no doubt the sound system and lighting was epic as you should expect from ‘the best club in the world’.
But, as many others have already commented, just absolutely ruined by the ridiculous overselling of tickets and the lack of care or concern about overcrowding, safety or the enjoyment and atmosphere for people paying a LOT of their hard earned money for what they hope will be a fantastic experience. It just wasn’t. The atmosphere was odd, unfriendly and commercial.
The night including entry, 5 bottles of water a wine and a Coke cost 300 euros for 3. You kind of expect ridiculous prices for drinks so are prepared for that but these are worse than most. The barmaids looks as if they would rather be ANYWHERE else, made us feel incredibly unwelcome and like we were just a huge hassle and inconvenience to them. I’m sure they have to deal with their fair share of annoying or rude customers but they treated us with disdain and also served literally everyone that walked up before us.
We had zero space. We were shoved out of the way constantly. It was almost frenzied to the point of not feeling safe so we spent most of the time in the garden. This was WAY BEFORE Fiaher even came on, so imagining the sudden rush of people in the garden entering the already heaving club to see him it would have been hideous.
We went to Camelphat at Ushuaia for our first big night the night before, which was absolutely PHENOMENAL. The vibe, the space, the consideration for peoples safety and overall atmosphere just seemed a lot, LOT better.
If Hi actually cared about It’s customers In addition to just making money, I would go back, but for me , sadly never again. There’s all the attempts to look like they care with the replies saying ‘we’re sorry to hear this, we take it seriously etc etc’ and yet still they take everyone’s money and keep overselling. We didn’t even stay to see Fisher….!

World class venue, music system, well organised and serviced (except no cloakroom), great dancers and spectacle. Plenty of chill spaces outdoors, lots of exit/entrances, it felt safe, the staff professional. Expensive drinks, even though not many were drinking alcohol (maybe that’s why and accordingly the water was high priced). Running a big club like this is a big deal, so I think the price point was fine. We are a gay coupe and went for Glitterbox hoping to find more of our ‘tribe’ there than on an average night, but largely the crowd was straight and very young, no complaint, just describing. A lot of jostling, folks constantly on the move, texting and pushing as they went. No criticism of the venue for this - some people were just a little rude or unaware, not there to dance, but rather to parade. If the smaller dance room was turned into a queer space, we would definitely come back.

They oversold the venue so we couldn’t even get through the doors. It was an absolute horrible and horrific experience for us being pushed constantly by the people behind us so they could get into the room. Both rooms were packed like sardines. The bar and outside area was a lot more roomy but there was no music so the vibe was absolutely crap. I believe Hi Ibiza must find their own ratings to say they are the #1 club in the world. It was the worst experience I’ve had on the island. Packs and Ushuaia were amazing compared to this. We had to leave mins after entry because it was too traumatic to stay any longer. I am appalled I had to spend so much money for an oversold event. The club should refund the tickets for those poor people like myself that had no enjoyment whatsoever.
