- Sophie MLlandudno, United Kingdom2 contributionsPerfect Snorkelling SpotThe most amazing cove for snorkelling, myself and my boyfriend spent almost everyday at this cove snorkelling and sunbathing. Less sand on one side which meant we could avoid getting sand blown on us on the windier days. The outdoor showers were a godsend to cool down or get sea water off after a swim. The snorkelling was a highlight however, and we saw octopus, cuttlefish, crabs and plenty of bream. It was the perfect spot to spend the day, and the quieter spots are relaxing and very peacful.Visited July 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 20 July 2023
- Amber WWest Sussex, United Kingdom11 contributionsLovely placeSuch a wonderful place. The water is so clear. We saw all sorts of wildlife. The water was obviously a bit chilly initially but we still had a great time. We arrived quite early and there wasn’t too many people. My favourite thing to do was feeding the fish! Someone had told me to bring a banana and they devoured it! There are showers and toilets nearby too which is a bonus. There is the opportunity to hire sunbeds but I’m not sure how to / how much. I would love to visit here again some day!Visited July 2023Travelled with familyWritten 28 July 2023

The cove was absolutely beautiful and the sea was crystal clear so you could see the little fish swimming around your ankles. The sea was initially very chilly but once I was used to it, swimming in the sea was just perfect! The little beach was very busy with people snorkelling and sitting on the beach but there were quiet places further along the beach which were perfect for relaxing and peaceful for taking in the beautiful views and sunshine. Great free shower facilities for when you need to wash off all the sand before you leave! Made a perfect day out for us and I’d definitely recommend if you’re staying in Costa Teguise.Visited August 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 1 August 2023
- Aishling WGalway, Ireland9 contributionsMake friends with the fishThis little cove is just amazing. We went almost every day of the 14 day holiday and every day was different. This beach is for snorkelling. The fish are like pets. Many people were just standing knee deep feeding the fish, amazing!! It does get really busy especially on Sundays, so go early enjoy a few hours swimming with the fish it will be worth it.Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 21 August 2023
- Julia OShetland Islands, United Kingdom30 contributionsMy new happy placeWe were staying next door in the Hotel Grand Tequise but I was never tempted by the pools after swimming af this beach on our first day. In fact, I bought a snorkel and swam nearly every day observing the amazing variety of wildlife beneath the waves. The only days I didn't swim the waves were crashing in. The beach is protected by a breakwater and is usually calm and clear waters. There is a lifeguard most of the day with an advisory flag system in place. The only downside is it can get busy when the local dive centre is training groups here, but I floated around them!Visited February 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 24 February 2024

To me this was the best beach in the resort - quieter and less touristy with rocky beach shelters to sit up on the bank and perfect for walking in solitude away from the hordes which are ever present - even in winter! Its a great place for solitude and sit and listen to the sea without a sun lounger in sight.

Unbelievable little beach, it can get busy at times but we’ll worth it so clean and safe and great to snorkel so many fish too see from even just standing with your ankles in to snorkelling you’ll see some great aquatic life! There aren’t many sun-beds on the beach but plenty of area to place towels and rocks to hold the towels down!

Definitely worth a visit to this picturesque beach not only is the water nice and shallow for young kids but there is a little selection where you can walk with and feed the fishes which the kids will love.

Coastline just a five minute walk away. Head left along coast path and arrive at beautiful small beach, ideal for families. Would guess about 15 minutes walk in total. Larger beach just around headland about another ten minutes.
Lots of cafes and refreshments on hand. Enjoy
