We highly recommend the 4 day cycle tour with Off The Rails. Pauline & Nick are enthusiastic ambassadors of Central Otago as they transport you through the stunning scenery imparting their historical knowledge and passion for the region. They provide three nights accommodation in very comfortable, well designed units at Ranfurly. This means you can unpack & acclimatise for the duration of the tour without having to repack each morning. The bikes are of an excellent standard & checked & maintained daily by Nick, whilst Pauline coordinates the pick up, drop offs & lunch stops ( by the why she makes an exceptional fruit cake) and even pops up on the trail with a morning snack.…

Can't speak highly enough about Off the Rails! Extremely well organised, genuine, down to earth tour leaders (Pauline and Nick), highly knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and thoughtful. From the morning tea stops along the way, to the amazing accommodation in Ranfurly. Nothing was too much trouble. Pauline is incredibly generous with her time and knowledge of the region, and took photos for us along the trail. Having everything taken care of in terms of transport, suggestions for meals, arranged dinners at local hotels, and even curling in Naseby, was excellent. The service is unbeatable and the trail itself is stunning in terms of scenery. Such an interesting and enjoyable tour. We had a fantastic time.…
