Love the old cobbled streets with views over the new town below to the sea. There are a couple of old churches worth a visit and the castle at the top. Well worth a visit and Sicoli bar for ice cream a treat.

We stayed in Coreca and drove through Amantea on several locations. There are shops, hotels. and some lovely restaurants.

Probably one of the most beautiful place in Amantea. If you want to admire ancient palaces, walk narrow and picturesque streets, see amazing sunset from the top of the city... you should go there. There are 2 good ice cream shops, a pub, 2 restaurants...More

the ruins and old town are worth a visit, as well as the castle! It's all above the new amantea, with a stunning (especially at night) view!
