I had the most amazing experience traveling through Kurdistan. I hired Haval Qaraman tour guide. I had an awesome road trip in January 2019. I highly recommend visiting Kurdistan.

I enjoy this place the people are so friendly and willing to help if they can. You can get a taxi ride just about anywhere for 5 bucks. The dollar goes a long way

Spent just over a week in and around Erbil, brilliant place to visit. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I definitely recommended booking Karwan Wahed as a guide to show you around. Speaks fluent English and has a vast knowledge of all the sites.

Hi Robert I have only been in Erbil for a couple of days. The currency I have was obtained in the UK. Most of the bills are relatively new. As of yet I have not changed any currency. Sorry I cannot be of any more help.
