The citadel has been inscribed on the World Heritage List since 21 June 2014. A wonderful place to visit day or night. Full of history and artefacts. Thanks to Haval Qaraman tour guide for amazing trip around Erbil.

When I arrived at customs they asked if it was my 1st visit and then welcomed me to Iraq. Very safe if not the most exciting place to be.
