There were reasonable food options but there were lots of empty spaces so I imagine more options on a weekend. There are several bars to choose from and a musician playing. As an interstate visitor it was quite easy to reach by public transport from Surfers. I used GLink tram then connected with the 700 bus. There are other buses as well and only a very short walk to Miami Marketta.Visited December 2023Travelled soloWritten 31 January 2024

We were a group of seven. Worked out well because we couldn’t decide what to get we all got something different to try. All the staff were really friendly and the live music was great. We will definitely be back again.

Huge variety of cuisines to choose from. Used to provide more tastings than we experienced so a little disappointed but what we ate was great. Must try the crumbed calamari. So tender and to die for!!

Went here on a Wednesday night. I was seriously underwhelmed. Not much selection in different foods or stalls at all. It may be better on the weekend. I feel it was a waste of time and money

Rating this only a 4/5 because I feel like Eat Street in Brisbane is probably the absolute King of street food night markets, and a definite 5/5. Miami Marketta is a good #2 for the QLD region though - lots of great food and drink options, and the ability to listen to great live music makes for a really good vibes night out.

We went here on a Saturday night. There was some live entertainment on a stage inside the front entrance. There were several bars with various drink options and we were allowed to sit in their seats to eat food after we had ordered a drink. There was at least one free water station. Toilet were a bit of a walk from one end to the other. Different food tastes were represented well in the selection of vendors. A more than competent attempt at the usual ‘eat around the world’ street food stalls. In particular some of our party enjoyed the Japan curry chicken, a vegetarian pizza and seafood paella. Staff seemed friendly, atmosphere was lively without being too crowded or waiting times too long. Could go back again in future to try some other vendors.

Do you need to book a table or wait for a table in order to eat here, or possible to purchase food and sit wherever?

No need to book, and they’ve just expanded the seating area so there is plenty of room now! Sorry for delay in replying - didn’t see the notification. Hope it worked out for you.

Is this an appropriate place to take my 80 year old grandparents on a Saturday night? Two main concerns are music might be too loud and we won't be able to hear each other?
The other is that there might not be enough seats and they definitely can't stand all night.
If we get there at 4pm on the dot do you think I can avoid these 2 problems?
Suggestions for grandparent appropriate activities between Burleigh and surfers also appreciated.
Thanks

If you get there early enough you will be fine, my mum and mum in law went there with us last year (both in their 80's), we found seats and they loved it there. Music was loud for the one and the other one was as happy as can be with the loud music, clapping away ( we went at 7 and found seats)
Are dogs allowed?

Hey guys, BYO is not allowed, we are fully licensed.
For those of you have commented that it is quite an open market so you would have no trouble sneaking it in should know that is not cool. We have security at the front and back entrance as well as roving, so if you do bring it in and we catch you....you will be asked to leave. We work really hard to bring you awesome wine and beer, if we don't have what you like, don't drink here .
