An excellent historic collection of Surf Boards and surfing related items. This collection is well presented and, with the aid of multimedia, tells an interesting story of the development of Surfing in Australia. The reasonable entry fee and the helpful staff ensures a visit to...More

Staffed by ocean going volunteers, this is a fantastic attraction for everyone, surfer or not. Much of our history is based around the sea and Surf World really captures the surfing side brilliantly. There's one of the best collections of historical surf craft on the...More

If you're into surfing and would like a sample of the surf culture, stop here. There are lots of boards to view as you wander through and take in some surf history.

As a surf journalist I love surf history. This place exhibits amazing historic boards and equipment. But unfortunately the staff doesn't seem to now much about them. It feels like you are on your own.

Why have there not been reviews entered on this place since one in August and one in February 2014. I have sent off two recently with no response, disappointing for them and me.
