    Interesting and tatsty!
I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of experiences offered on the full farm tour. It encompassed all the things I love (fruit tasting, animal petting and a boat ride). It was well presented, provided lots of interesting information and we moved around at a good pace for the activities.
We are so pleased you enjoyed your time here at Tropical Fruit World! Thank you for the lovely review and we hope to see back at the farm soon.

The farm tour was really good with so many interesting facts about the produce there. The fruit tasting was exceptional and I now feel more adventurous with my fruit eating. The little boat cruise was lovely and relaxing. Would highly recommend it to anyone, especially families. The only downfall was how short the visit was to the Island. 15 minutes is not enough time to play mini golf and enjoy the area. Otherwise a great morning out.
Thank you for sharing we hope you found a new fruit favourite! We are happy for you to stay and play where possible on the island we can pick you up later just let our guides know :)

    Great activity with the family
Tropical Fruit World, what a lovely surprise adventure. We didnt know what to expect, we recently went with our 3 year old and another family with two kids of similar ages. We found the tour very informative, fun and interesting. We started off with a fruit tasting of over 10 different fruits, all with a good story/background. We then went on the tractor throughout the acres and saw hundreds of different fruit varieties - some we had never seen or heard of before. We made a little stop near the bananas, and were able to try some, we also had a heap of macadamias from the macadamia trees. We then continued on, and ended up at a cute spot to feed lots of animals. Sheep, goats, chickens, Donkeys etc... the animals were very friendly. We then went onto a boat through the water, down to the island. The island had a bunch of activities/games/sports for the kids, and there was an amazing indigenous display with some great background information on some indigenous plants, and some of which you could take a cutting of and grow at home. After this the tour was over and we could have lunch at the cafe and buy some fruit at the fruit market. The coffee was really good! Overall this is a great family outing and great value for money. It takes 2-3 hours all up, but is quite relaxing. Lots of shade too. Plenty of toilets around, which makes things easier with the kids. Highly recommend!
Sounds like you guys had a great day Thankyou so much for sharing with us! we appreciate the time it takes to share your thoughts and we look forward to welcoming you back soon!

Best day out for both adults and the kids!
The fruit tasting was amazing so many interesting facts and delicious! Blair, our guide on the day was absolutely lovely & a wealth of knowledge. He made it so much fun for all with his sense of humour & nothing was too much trouble for him! From answering loads of questions, to helping my nephew with his sore finger. The tractor ride & boat trip was enjoyed by the adults & kids, along with the animal feeding. They have a huge playground with so many options for the kids. I loved the gorgeous shop at the end where they sell natural high quality dried fruits, nuts, tea, honey, oils, skincare etc. you can buy fruit fresh from the farm & plants too. I took home lots of goodies including a lemon Myrtle tree to plant at home. So impressed with tropical fruit world, the loveliest people working here. A great day out!
Awesome Thankyou for sharing! we will pass on the great feedback to Blair he will be thrilled :) We hope to see you again soon!

    Tour review
Staff had great knowledge of produce and history of the farm, the farm tour was above expectations, the fruit tasting was delicious, the boat cruise was a hit with the family. The whole farm is a lot bigger than we expected, stopping along the way to taste more fruit and macadamia nut cracking was a treat. Yum.

I was pleasantly surprised by this tour. Impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of the Rour guide and other staff. And found out locals get a discount if you show your rates bill or utility bill with your address on it. Definitely recommend 👌

no ticket checked when the tractor tour started and the guide doesn't have an idea why there are more head count than it was booked. Impressive long life tropical fruit trees but it has been a waste many fruits are not collected and fell on ground. Fruit ice-cream was nice. Big avocado was promoted as a whole but is not as attractive as a half fruit like it used to be.

We recently took our Intellectually Disabled clients to Tropical Fruit World as part of a weekend away. We didn't know what to expect from the Full Farm Tour, but were all very impressed. Our guys loved the Tractor trailer ride, which gave us lots of really interesting information, and the amazing fruit tasting, both in a room and on the tour. The petting zoo was a hit, as was the boat ride to the island, where there was a playground, mini golf etc. We will definitely go again.

We happened upon Tropical Fruit World because a friend recommended it to us and we're so glad we went. After buying many fruits to take home, we signed up for the tasting and the tour. The tasting included jakfruit, green papaya, red papaya, avocado, jujube, water cherries, pomelo, water melon, and dragon fruit plus more I can't remember. We spent most of the day with Blair who not only drove out tractor, but also piloted our boat ride, and was a wealth of knowledge about various fruit species, plants, their origins, and the nutrients they have.

We stopped to say hi to the kangaroos and goats before the river cruise to the island where we played some basketball. We also made a pit stop on the trail for fresh macadamia nuts and bananas. The grounds are absolutely stunning and Blair's informative tour was really interesting.

10/10 would go again.

We recently took our 2 year old grandson to Tropical Fruit World whilst he was staying with us for the weekend. We loved the gardens, general surroundings and the fruit to start the tour was excellent. So many tasty, colourful varieties all explained by Stuart who was very friendly.
Then onto the train/tractor tour. Our grandson was a bit unsettled due to the noise and number of people on the tour. He’s pretty shy. We were asked by the guide if he would settle and I said”yes”. The guide said “ I hope so”. I can understand this from the operators view as of course there are others on the trip.
Anyway the tour was informative. Our grandson especially loved the farm animals. We then did the boat tour. The guide on this part was excellent. He even went back around to collect another child’s hat that had fallen overboard. We saw many turtles on this part. Onto the island and time for all the children to play. A baby green tree snake was found and relocated very professionally.
Overall a lovely way to spend the morning.

Something completely unexpected. We live on the GC and were driving on our way home from a holiday in Kingscliffe and decided to check it out. So glad we did. Highly recommend the food tasting and the farm tour. Be sure to check out the amazing natural products in the store and buy some locally-grown produce. Also make sure you stop by the cafe to try some incredible food and taste the amazing fresh made ice cream and fruit. Tropical Fruit World was a great day out!
