I went with zante recruit to work in zante for the month of June and hoping to stay for the full season. This was one of the worst decisions, me and the 15 others who traveled with the company, could have made. The emails and...More

Overall kalamaki beach is better and cleaner however it is one of the same just further along the coast. Worth a visit for the iced coffee

The beach is ok but really nothing special. It is a rather long, sandy beach with shallow water which I personally like, but water is not always clean. No eye-catching nature or scenery to enjoy. Actually, the whole town of Laganas seems dirty and polluted...More

Part of this lovely sandy beach is heavily associated with turtle nests and although it does restrict some movemnet at particular times of the year it is still a fantastic sight to behold. Many bars and clubs further down between the back of Louis Zante...More

Nice beach but the constant harassment from street sellers made it a very unpleasant experience. Didn't dare leave anything unattended on the beach.

If this beach was in America probable it was seen as a wander. For greek islands is medium: very clear warm water, long (narrow) beach, (packed) sand long walk to the deep water (more then 40 meters!), cozy because of the many restaurants and bars....More

Lovely beach. Plenty of hire boats and lovely bars and restaurants. You will get people selling fake glasses and bags etc but if u just say no thanks they walk away.

The beach and bay area are beautiful and there are hundreds of restaurants lining it to enjoy. But almost all of the beach is taken up by sunloungers that are paid by the hour. Have to be willing to walk much further round to have...More

Yes the 1 mile or so between Laganos and Kalamaki is dunes and contains turtle nests. In the other direction, At Agias Sostis there are relaxing cocktail bars restaurants and private villas.
