Had a great time tasting at this winery. Enjoyed the Riesling and especially enjoyed the Port. Very nice on a cold night.

Very good wines, locally grown and created here. Served by the owners make the tastings so helpful. Spent an enjoyable hour here with one other customer knowledgeable as well. Gerwurztraminer was considered outstanding, the Pinot noir, tasty and drinkable now, fruity and floral

When passing through I generally make a point of visiting. The wine tasting is a good experience and informative. Make sure you try the Port - one of the main reasons I am a big fan of Torlesse!

This is one of the few wineries in Waipara where you are often served by the winemakers. They are passionate about what they do and work hard at it. Well worth a visit.

Maggie (the co owner) is very friendly and helpful. Even Packaged and couriered our purchases back to Auckland. Torlesse wines are good value.

Native plantings around the swale, well laid out and presented cellar door and the host was pretty good too. Only got 3 bottles - a mistake!

Comprehensive selection of good and well-priced wines produced on the premises. Friendly and knowledgeable management are on hand to explain and advise whilst providing you with free tastings of most wines in an attractive tasting room. Give them a go - good experience !
