Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

3 very good silo art installations. It would be better to see them from a distance,so having to walk around them so closely did not provide the best visual. I did love the art though.

These silos are extremely well painted & a credit to the community for using them to their full advantage.
They almost take your breath away as they are so well done!

This is a must see as you travel through Waimate. There are many art works on the buildings and the Solos are the most recent. They take your breath away. So realistic and powerful. The artist has a wonderful talent.

Just stopped on the way north. You can see the Silo from a distance. Worth getting close as there is a path around the back so you don't step in front of a lorry. The history is already given on what the pictures show. See the pictures.

Situated in the yard of a working transport company , this local icon is impressive and informative. Story boards tell of the people imortalised on the silos. A new artwork has been added to the old office, another local icon .

This is at the end of the main street, very easy to see as it is high. Has a secure walk around the silos as they are in a trucking company yard.

The paintings on the silos is amazing. There is a good view of them in the Main Street beside Seddon Square. The paintings show a war hero, an ex prime minister, a famous women doctor and the first white settler and Maori chief. The local museum has plenty of info on these people
