Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very nice and maintained hiking track that is not so difficult. Even children will manage, with a bit of help from their parents. I still recommend sturdy shoes and some light waterproof jacket, due to the mist from the waterfall that is at the end of the track.
The waterfall at the end of the hiking trail is not the nicest out there, but as a nice end point of your walk, it works.
No ticket to walk the path or to access the waterfall is needed.

From the carpark, cross the bridge, stopping to admire the waterfall, and you're into the forest. Mostly pretty easy but there are some quite challenging stairs early on. Once past those though it is easy walking. Mostly quite sheltered until you get to the first boardwalk just before you cross the highway. Then carry on, detour to Bealey Chasm, and head for the Dobson memorial. This area is more exposed and, on the day i went, the rain unfortunately set in. Despite my gear, I still got wet and so didn't quite make it to the end. Not a lot of birdlife out due to weather but a few South Island robins came to see what I was up to.
Will do it again on a fine day!

It was an easy and gentle walk through the forest, along the river and then we were driven around in a group to explore the scenery.

Enjoyable, relaxing, quiet hike. Majority of people are going to Devil's Punchbowl, but there are plenty of stunning views on Arthur's Pass Walking Track and if you go further on the trail views of waterfalls as well. Hiked for about an hour before turning back.

Accessed from the same carpark as the Devil's Punchbowl track, yet few people seem to do this one. An easy, gentle walk takes you through forest, along rivers, and even through a small cave up to the highest point in Arthur's Pass, just by the Dobson Memorial. From there, it links with other short walks or you can cross to Temple Basin. A nice walk to get a good overview of Arthur's Pass and a good introduction to the area. Some nice views along the way.

An easy enough walk from the carpark for most people through a nice forest area until you arrive at the falls.

We're not great step climbers (an age thing) so we were unable to go far up the walking trail. Regardless, it's worth parking the car, crossing the bridge, taking in the cascading stream and walking as far as you can because it's a beautiful area with changing vegetation by the season. There are rest and picnic areas on the far side of the river, which would be pleasant for a fair weather lunch.

The walking track has very beautiful surrounding overlooking high mountains and waterfall. The walk to Devil Punchbowl Waterfall is quite easy but with staircase-climbing. A very pleasant walk in this beautiful place surrounded by mountains, water, plants, rocks. Arthur's Pass is quite windy.

Very easy track that meanders through the forest. The interesting point was that there are actually three parking lots from which you can access the track: one at either end, and one in the middle (Jack's hut). We went from Temple Basin to Jack's hut and back to Temple Basin, cutting it short because it looked like it might rain. We then finished the walk another day from the other end.
