Loved this walk just wow. Needed to pace ourselves as not seasoned walkers but this as a gentle walk with stunning views at every turn.

We rode our motorbikes up to the valley, great visitors centre, the scenery is breathtaking, we rode our bikes around the dams and stopped for a pic or two, great day out wether your walking, cycling etc

Cycled the 14 mile route which was eay to navigate with the most staggering views. The visior centre was very good and there was loads ofparking. A must of you're in this area!!! Absolutly stunning.

The valley is free but if you park at the visitor centre they charge for that I believe

Hi there was never a village as it was a farming community, some foundations are visible and some of the garden walls of one of the manor houses

There's a visitor centre at the mouth of the valley, which has a nice cafe, serves hot & cold food, drinks and cakes, has an outdoor play area for kids, and tables and chairs to sit and eat your lunch inside and out. All... More
