Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Like a number of beaches/bays in this area of the Hibiscus Coast, the dolphins are regular visitors. Great location to see them at play & feeding, with very obvious high density fish populations they heard in and feed from. Rushed down to see the Orca's a few times, only to miss them. Easy access, very nice village shopping format to relax at.

Love this little beach. It's often tranquil and calm when other beaches in the area are windy.

Dolphins and Orca are regular visitors here.

We like to grab a takeaway from nearby Manly village and relax at one of the picnic benches to eat and enjoy the views.

Jumping off the cliffs at high tide is a popular activity and lots of fun.

this is a small pretty beach, with rocks at either end and very shallow when the tide is out. dogs are not allowed on the beach in the summer months.

Access is via a ramp (for car) or steps for walkers. this is a small and quiet beach with an additional cove to the left (if looking toward the sea) Rangitoto Island is clearly visible on the horizon and provided a great backdrop for the cruise ships that stopped overnight there. Water is clear, beach is easy to walk along and all in all a stunning spot with pohutakawas reaching to the water - just gorgeous

There is NOTHING NOT to like about manly, it's close, it's breathtaking, it's CLEAN!! Low tide is the best time to go across the street because you can actually walk out into the ocean about 8-10 feet below normal water height. Amazing!!

Unfortunately it was raining when we visited but it would be a nice place in good weather. Opposite the Whangaparoa Motel so a convenient walk before dinner
