One of our favourite beaches in New Zealand. 2km of white sand beach with good waves, patrolled by a surf life saving club, 90 minutes from Auckland.

Beautiful coastal town, with a gorgeous beach. The walk up Mount Pauanui is tough, with some scrambling up rocks toward the end, but well worth is for the amazing view.
