We visited the ebach in November, which is just before the peak season. It's quiet and you always find spots to stay at the beach with no hassle

obviously a seasonal place on off season is very quite, you virtually have the place to your self. Pauanui is medium size town and just about all holiday homes. Lots of beaches in the area which are sandy scenic and quite.

A beautiful clean beach of white sand. Buy fish and chips and make lunch here a winter treat. In summer swim in these lovely clean waters.

Wonderful to wander along this beach on a sunny day in winter. So peaceful and scenic. Golden sands and easy walking and access from the township. Great views across to Tairua as well.

I had a few swims in the beach, walked from one end to the other and saw a lot of seagulls etc. I also walked up the headland to the top which is very good but rather steep.

Had nice time at beach and did the walk to summit to see views of bay. Would loved to have spent some more time here as looked like good place to chill. Good milkshakes in carpark too

Fantastic family beach. Chean and safe. Great at sunset when an array of seabirds visit. Great for surfing and swimming.

Great beach, very safe, family and children really enjoyed - walks and exploring the beach were the kids favorite.

Hi the Puka Park has a very nice restaurant, there are a few in the village, but some do not open all the time.We stayed for a week and did not go hungry, you really need a car to get around.Hope this helps a little.
