In the main square of Torres Vedras and free entrance, the Church of the Convent of Grace, originally the Convent of the Augustines of Torres Vedras, was built in the century. XVI, as it is written on a plaque on the outside, replacing an earlier temple built in the year 1366 and that was destroyed by floods. The interior is beautiful, predominating the light colors of the walls which are well decorated especially on the sides, with small altars, and the main altar stands out the golden scale. In front is the modern baptism sink, made of brass with a wooden support. There's a high choir, but I haven't seen a tube organ. It has been classified as "Public Interest Real Estate" since December 1958.
