Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I love taking my kids here. Great to walk around, enjoy the play grounds or buy a canvas and paints for just 20 baht to let them create a masterpiece. It is the centre of town and many locals come down to meet, exercise or eat. Always something to see or do, well worth checking out especially as the sun sets.

It's built on rough-hewn wooden pillars that are sunk into the bottom of a lotus pond, so that it's surrounded by water to protect the manuscripts it contains from termites and other insects. The architecture of the wooden structure with its pitched, vaulted roofs is perfectly balanced, modest yet completely sure of itself. The old mondop nearby has a large Buddha footprint and 150-year-old murals drawn from the Jataka Tales that are realistic and symbolic simultaneously. It's cool inside even on hot days. It doesn't take long to walk around, but it's worthwhile to sit for several minutes here and there and let the historic atmosphere sink in.

This is a quite different temple and also a very much visited by the thais. It is located in a big area and has several buildings and wats. There is a wooden house which is actually used as a small museum with some info about Ubon ancient writings and also a sacred house for monks and thais who visit this temple. Some celebrations take place here as this is a very sacred temple.

As mentioned in some of the other reviews, this is a very old temple with a wooden library situated in the middle of a small pond. This part of the temple complex is worth a visit due to it's unique design and it's age. However, the temple needs to take better care of the wood of this building as it is beginning to look it's age. Other than the wooden library, there is not much else worth seeing.

This is the original main temple for Ubon Ratchathani. It is now mainly for training monks. More or less a Buddhist Monk University.

For visitors the highlight is old library or archive building. It is built on stilts surrounded by a moat. Inside there are old texts, prayers and scriptures that have been preserved.

Very interesting site. It is located in downtown Ubon city just east of the city park with the same name, Tung Sri Muang, on the other side of Anuban school and beside the main Ubon post office.

Nice temple in the middle of town. easy accessible. Good place for a short walk around. In the pond are turtles (nice for the kids) The building in this pond is a teakwood library. It is in the water to protect against the termites.... VERY good temple-example!
