If you're a nature lover this is perfect for you. Good for beginners and experienced outdoorsman as the walking track is flat most of the time. You'll cross a few suspension bridges along the way. Beautiful 360 panoramic view of the valley around you with...More

The walk all the way to the glacier lake and back is a little over 7 miles. It is billed as an easy walk. There are scattered steps along the way and some uneven surfaces to deal with but do not miss this walk. The...More

This is one of the best tracks in terms of difficulty and reward in New Zealand. It's fairly easy to do (3h on flat surface) and has the most stunning views.

I started at 7:30 am short after sunrise, the views were stunning, the air fresh, you listen to wild water of rivers and explore fantastic valleys, three hanging bridges on your way, it can be very windy. Later on much more people came, but do...More

This is a beautiful walk, about 10km along pretty flat terrain, across 3 swing / suspension bridges which is always fun. Lake and views of Mount Cook at the end (unfortunately not the blue waters of Lake Tekapo, but a muddy grey lake). This is...More

Hiked the hooker valley track to have a closer look of the glacier. the view was outstanding, even though we were greeted by gusty winds and drizzle. dun let the weather deter from you witnessing such a great sight.

I walked most of this trek but didn't go quite to the end as I knew I had to repeat the same distance back the way I came. Is a beautiful place, and a gravel walkway the whole way much of it flat, but with...More

Sorry for the slow answer. Missed the question until now. I believe the first part of the trail is stroller friendly. Can't remember about the parts a bit further in.

Hi. This walk is only accessible from Mt Cook which is a very long way by road from Franz Josef as the mountains are in the way. Coming from Queenstown would be quicker but is still probably a 3 hour drive.
