The most amazing experience ever! Did separate heli & ski plane trip w/guide, Tex, who was very friendly & professional. He did a great job explaining the glacier & surrounding area--down to a science along w/keeping everyone safe. The entire staff went above & beyond to make sure it was a once in a lifetime experience, from outfitting everyone w/gear... More

PINCH ME!! What an incredible experience with Mt Cook Glacier Guiding -- one of the most jaw-dropping, picturesque and unique places I have ever been to. There is nothing like the feeling of seeing Might Mt Cook and surrounding regions from above, then landing right in the middle and exploring the blue caves of this otherworldly place. STUNNING!! Graza is... More

Thanks for taking the time to review your time with us. We totally agree with your adjectives about the area and PINCH ourselves as we get to call this very stunning place, New Zealand's big mountain country, home. We appreciate your comments about Graza and we know he will too. Consider the "hello" passed on. We hope you had a... More

After a turbulent flight there was a calm and peaceful hike on the fresh snow with stunning views. We have took a lot of photo and video footage, but that not even nearly 'describes' what we saw. It was unbelievable!!! We have tried to do the helihike at Franz Jozef Glacier and Fox Glacier. Due to bad weather all those... More

Well done on your perseverance, we're rapt that you were finally rewarded with a New Zealand Heli Hike experience! Alpine experiences certainly require a certain degree of flexibility with time and patience while waiting for mother nature to present good weather sometimes. Thank you for taking the time to post your review and we feel very humbled to read that... More

I went on a full-day ice climbing trip and was mind blown! Kirsten was our guide and she was awesome - professional, friendly, genuine and fun. She gave excellent instruction for first-time ice climbers and made it totally accessible for those who had never done anything like this before. We started on an easy wall and ended on a super... My husband and I had a great time on the helihike we had the best guide Kiersten she made sure our safety was priority walking ahead of us and making steps when needed. Tasman Glacier is a magical place with hidden ice caves you never know what you find. I 100% recommend doing the helihike.

We took part of an "Adventurer" tour with Mt Cook Glacier Guiding and were blown away by the whole thing! From the awesome heli-trip with commentary to the sheer size of the glacier without forgetting the awesomeness of Tex our guide. This was by far one of the most dramatic and insightful trip that we have done in New Zealand!... More

A heli-hike is a great option if you are looking to do more than just view the scenery (although you get plenty of scenery viewing as well). This trip involves flying up to the mid-point of the Tasman Glacier (with at least twenty mins or so of helicopter travel if you count both trips) and then around 2 hours on... More

We were looking for a way to explore the glacier. This one turned out to be just great! Although we were looking forward to fly on the glacier by skiplane that could not happen due to heavy winds. So we went by helicopter, which was fine for us. (That's NZ, the weather is always unpredictable.) We met our group at... More
