About
Wezenspyk cheese farm has been making delicious Texel cheese for over 40 years. In 1981, Anton Witte started with the classic Texel Farmers' Cheese. Later, the range was expanded to include Texel sheep cheese. Today the farm also produces goat's cheese. Wezenspyk Cheese Farm is a true family business and a household name on the island of Texel.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great explanation about how cheese is made and delicious cheese from the shop! Also lovely cafe for drinks with cake or sandwich, seating inside and outside.

Once in Texel it should be definitely in agenda as a typical activity of this island. Very nice atmosphere close to the nature, good choice of cheeses and an interesting and informative introduction into the process of cheese production. This can be directly observed through the glass windows. One can also watch the video narrating of all the details. In the shop it’s possible to try various sorts of cheese produced at the farm, and some cosmetic products.

Beautiful cheese farm where you can experience the cheese making process. You can also taste the delicious cheeses there and/or take them home.

It is super nice to walk through the store and also go to the cheese storage. When you hit it and that is soon 5 days a week you see the cheesemakers at work.
Spacious shop and via a super nice path you can go to t sheep's pen along the way you can listen to stories super fun for the children and you can find a lot of info on info boards.
In the sheep pen is a sheep museum set up .super nice to look if you walk further you come to t trek pound .
But we go to the store to taste cheese because that is allowed there and take cheese home .super friendly staff.

The shop is nice, but there is not really an actual museum or an accessible farm. You can look in through some windows around the shop and there are some information signs. But for us it was an anti-climax.

Upon arrival on Texel immediately stopped for cheese. Friendly man behind the counter who can help you well and let you taste. Cheese was delicious! Went back today for cheese to take back south.

A great cheese farm, with a museum and sheep stable. Unfortunately the cheese cafe was closed the last time, which was a shame. I would combine the shop with the café and link them together. The shop is great, tasty cheeses and great staff. Such a season is long and hard work, give them a pat on the back too!

Excellent cheese farm. The tour was excellent and the store has an extensive range. Nothing to complain about

The sheep's cheeses in particular are very good, but the other cheeses, although certainly good, are somewhat on the cowardly side compared to the many other farmer's cheeses that I have tasted, as if they had been put through the brine bath in a bit of a hurry.

Nice outing discovered by chance. Because we do geocaching, we ended up there quite by chance. After we logged the cache we took a look. Nice exhibition and an even nicer/delicious cheese farm shop. Here the cheese tastes like cheese should taste. Very different from that cheap supermarket (plastic) cheese
