Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It has been an exceptional surprise. I recommend a visit to the archaeological museum, an example of didactics, and, from there, get a ticket for the guided tours that Diego and his companion lead on Saturdays from the fortress to the sites of La Fonteta, a Phoenician factory, and the Caliphal Rápita. And, for gastronomy, Le Bleu or Origen... And get to know the work of the engineer Mira...

Fantastic park in the center of Guardamar. There are a lot of animals here: peacocks, roosters/hens swans, pheasants, geese ducks, turtles and the squirrels who are all outgoing and human-friendly. At the northern end of the park is a huge playground which the children had a lot of fun with in addition to the many animals.

A lovely place to visit, it's free, plenty of parking around on the streets, we visit once a year. We don't know if it's when we visitd, but the animal count seems to be down by alot. Great for all, small cafe on site as well.

Wasn’t sure what to expect but this place is lovely. As you walk in there is a gentle waterfall to the lakes which has a number of birds from swans to peacocks.
There is a childrens play park so a great place for a family
I could see amusements for small children but these were closed (I presume these open later in the year?!
There is a fountain which wasn’t on - again I presume because of the time of year.
There is a great little cocktail bar at the end which was lovely.
I would go again - very peaceful.
The only down side was alot of dog walkers do not clear up after their dogs - so it was a case of looking where you are going.

We visited Guardamar on market day, Wednesday,at the end of February. We grabbed a spot of lunch before having a walk along the prom/beach,then we're walking back to the car when my wife said she wanted to walk through the gardens she could see across the road. So imagine our surprise when we go in and find ducks, geese, parrots, terrapins plus a lovely play area for the kids and lots of shade for the warmer months (although it was 23 degrees in February). Furthermore, whilst the park has a bar/cafe which was great to see open, the whole park is spotlessly clean and so quiet too. We were impressed with parque of the nations in torrevieja but this is on another level! well done Guardamar!

A free to enter wildlife park. Great for any age groups especially for small kids and mums & dads. Our kids are 28 to 26 and they like to visit once year when they come to stay. Plenty of free parking around the town.

Pleasant walk under the shaded paths of the pines. There are some bodies of water where turtles, ducks, swans, etc. are present. The numerous peacocks walk with you in the paths. The atmosphere is peaceful, calm, relaxing. A play area for children is at the beginning so there are no children around.. a dog park is also present.. in the pines you can hardly see curious squirrels. Very nice

This is one of the best places we have visited recently. Grate place for families with children, grate effort of the community of Guardamar. I wonder for something that I have noticed - how all the birds inhabitants of the park stay there only without having a fence. We cnow that, for instance chicken, have very individual characters and they would eskape any area to research a new one. But living there without any fence is a miracle to me. Do you have any idea how it is ppossible?

Enjoy yourself under the trees. Children play in the various playground equipment. Enough benches and picnic tables. Nice pond with lots of birds. I have never seen so many peacocks together.

The best place in Guardamar to have a walk, spend a time, and hide from the summer sun. Children can see waterfalls, ponds with peacocks, turtles, ducks, goose. It’s also a playground for small children with sandy surface. And, funfair with few attractions for children.

When does the market and fun fair finish for the season.

I am not sure to be honest. If it follows the council run beach deck chair service it would be the end of September.
I do understand that they have a good Christmas market on the road running down from from the park to the sea.

Any chance of a mate for the lonely Swan in the Parque?
Written 3 March 2017
I visit the Parque nearly every time I go to Guardamar, I love seeing the birds etc, but I always feel sorry for the Swan, he/she has been on her own for quite sometime, is there any chance of getting a mate for her/him?
