This cathedral keeps its Romanesque style as there was no money to update it to Gothic or Baroque. Most of the frescos are now in Barcelona or NY or Boston or LA so not much left to see.

We looked in at the Cathedral as we were staying close by. It is a pretty plain Cathedral inside but there is much architectural work to look at. There is not much written in English so you have to be able to work it out...More

This was a lovely and well maintained Cathedral in a nice town. You can just feel the history of it - the biggest downside is that there is very little written in English, unless you buy a special guidebook. However we really enjoyed our visit,...More

Certain times of the day -during the season- watch the bell tower when it rings, a panel opens and closes to protect the ancient bells from the weather. Believe they raise the panels at noon only. Interesting Cathedral, worth a visit. Dont miss the museum,...More

We were just walking around and stopped in. The place was amazing, both in terms of the cathedral as well as the museum. The quality of the artifacts rivaled the best of a major museum without the crowds.
