Lovely diversion off of the main SP366 to reach walking and cycling path only. Tall rushes, bamboo, bushes and trees line the path with lake and sea beyond create a tunnel of gently swaying wind moved branches. Lizards dart across at your approach and birds...More

Stunningly beautiful area of coastal wilderness marred by a staggering amount of plastic waste that has washed ashore. It was a beautiful walk but never felt more depressed over what we have done!

We drove there on a weekday in mid-October, finding many plates with information "access forbidden". So we had a walk along the road going through the park and just took a path to the observation tower. Some bird-watching was possible (sea birds) but not much...More

Booking is required and English guide is not available on site. That said, it's a fantastic place to visit and see some rare plants. It's also good for bird watching. It can be visited on Sundays (if it's raining, the visits might be canceled). Booking...More

A nature park close to Hilton Acaya, well worth visiting if you have an interest in botany. You will also get close to the sea, with nice views over the coastline. Bring good shoes if you want to use this site.

This park looks awesome. But first day we found out it was only open from 10 to 12:30 on weekdays. So we came back the next day but there were no guided tours. The visitor center did give us a nice guidebook to the Salento...More
